On March 18, 1965, Alexey Leonov left his spacecraft Voskhod 2 for a twenty minute space walk; the first in mankind’s history.
I’ve decided to showcase this font with my terrible haiku skills.

On March 16, 1945, the Battle of Iwo Jima officially ended, though the conflict would resolve ten days later. I’ve tried to convey the emotion of the poem written by a WWII Vet, C. Douglas Caffey, without going too over the top with jarring text.
I originally had more jagged lines than just the first two, but with six stanzas it started to look cluttered and the eye didn’t know where to go. Something new to practice!
